
How to store your ham
From centre stage, Ham transitions effortlessly into delicious leftover meals. Here are my tips to ensure the flavours of Christmas continue through the holiday season once the main event is over.
What you'll need
- 1 Andrew's Calico Ham Bag
- 4 cups Water
- 2 tbl White Vinegar
Instructions
- Make a solution with the water and the vinegar.
- Soak the Ham Bag in the vinegar solution, wringing out excess water.
- Place the ham in the HamBag and rest on a plate before storing in the coolest part of your fridge.
- Repeat every few days or when the Ham Bag dries out.
Notes
Avoid wrapping your ham (or any smallgoods) in plastic. It will cause them to sweat and reduce their shelf life.
